Curtis Sliwa took a visit to Gracie Mansion, the home bestowed to New York’s Governors. Sliwa took this trip out to Gracie Mansion to deliver a letter to the state’s incoming Governor, Kathy Hochul, who is stepping in to replace a resigning Andrew Cuomo. In the letter, Sliwa emphatically wishes Hochul luck for her time in office, and offers his full cooperation should he be elected New York City’s next Mayor. However, Sliwa also pushed for Hochul to agree to meet with him in order to discuss the “no bail” law that has been negatively impacting New Yorkers both inside of the city and throughout the whole state in the form of a “crime crisis.”
