FLUSHING, New York:  New York City Mayoral Candidate Curtis Sliwa will be the keynote speaker at the “Charm of Asia” event, at the Sheraton Laguardia East Hotel in Flushing, NY, today at 12 PM in the Phoenix Ballroom.

Curtis will speak about the explosion of Anti-Asian Hate Crimes in the city.

Hate crimes against Asians have spiked by 395% since 2020, with 124 incidents this year alone.

Since the lockdown began in March 2020, Guardian Angel patrols have focused on Chinatown, Flushing, Woodside, and 8th Ave in Brooklyn.

As Mayor, Curtis will lay out his plan to combat surging Asian Hate Crime.

He points out that when Andrew Yang was still in the Mayoral race, this problem was prioritized. Now it is accepted as the norm.

That will change when Curtis Sliwa is Mayor.
